This is the original and best and sometimes it is the only thing you will settle for in the world - eg, when you have the cold, or when its snowing outside.

Heinz Tomato is a classic - i dont know, nor could I understand a single person who doesnt like it. The product, like it says on the tin, Is a creamy tomato soup - however it really is a taste sensation and very addictive, a rich and creamy soup with no 'bits' or vegtables floating in it. It is comfort food at its best, it runs down the throat and warms you up with a fresh (despite coming from a tin) tomato taste and leaves a creamy after sensation. I have tried other 'posh' tomato soups that come in expensive cartons from some of the finest makers, but I am positive that nothing will ever compare to this classic.

As far as I know, it is pretty healthy, with a fat content of less that 5%, probably made up from the cream, so there is no need to feel guilty in eating too much of it.

These days, it costs about 80p a tin (which in my opinion is rather expensive for a tin of soup, but this seems to be the case not just with Heinz but with all brands) but look out for supermarket specials, particularily on multi packs - last winter budgens were offering 4 tins for £2! thats a week of lunch for less than the price of a sandwich!
