A classic soup! (Heinz Cream of Tomato Soup)

Soup is not something I eat very often as I don't really know when to eat it. It is certainly not a breakfast food, I suppose it could be ok for lunch and I wouldn't dream of serving it at dinner time. My husband would not be happy if I said 'it's soup for tea'. Therefore when I buy tins of soup they just seem to sit there in the cupboard.

When I do find the opportunity to eat soup the one and only soup I eat is Heinz Cream of Tomato Soup. This is usually when I am feeling ill and just want something comforting to eat. I think soup is the perfect 'poorly food' and it is something you can always eat even when you don't feel like eating. When I was younger I had my tongue pierced and Heinz Tomato soup is all I ate for about a week because my tongue was so swollen I couldn't manage anything else.

Heinz is one of the most reputable brands and I really believe they make the best products. If Heinz make it then I usually do not buy any alternative brands, even if they are cheaper. For example I will only buy Heinz Beans or Heinz Tomato Ketchup. There are '57 varieties' though and there are probably loads I haven't even tried.

I don't normally like soup and I certainly don't like tomatoes, I think they're awful, so I find it very strange that I like Tomato Soup seen as 84% of the soup is made from tomatoes. I love the taste of this soup and especially the really thick consistency of it. It is so smooth and creamy, it tastes devine. It must also always be accompanied by lots of bread.

Heinz Tomato Soup is very easy to cook making it a very convenient meal. You can either empty the contents into a saucepan and stir gently while heating. Alternatively you can microwave it by heating on full power for 2 minutes.

This Tomato Soup is also very healthy, half a can contains 113 calories and 5.9g of fat. Which is great if you eat it on it's own but as I said it tastes even nicer when eaten with bread, not very healthy.

Heinz Cream of Tomato Soup is a tasty meal that at 65p a can is cheap, convenient and reasonably healthy. What more could you want?

Summary: The only soup that I like.
