Flavoured Mayo is back with Vengeance (Heinz Deli Mayo Moroccan Style)
Member Name: GrimwoodS
Advantages: convenient and tasty Disadvantages: calories Dismayed at the withdrawal of Heinz coronation sauce, finally a worthy substitute is back on our shelves. Basically this is a range of flavoured mayo sauces fantastic for complementing a range of foods, or as a component of recipes. The Moroccan style deli mayo worked wonders to create my quick cheat recipe for coronation chicken as a delicious salad dish for my little girls BBQ. The original ingredient that I replaced was Heinz coronation sauce taken off our shelves in 2004. To the meat from one large cooked chicken combine 2 jars of Moroccan mayo sauce, juice of half a lemon, 4 chopped dried apricots, 150ml crème fraiche, and chopped coriander. Serve on basmati and wild rice and decorate with watercress. What a treat! The four deli mayo flavours look very tasty, and this spicy Moroccan mayo has a little heat to it and is great on sandwiches, chips, boiled eggs, and even spread on toast. Flexible mayo sauces for a summer full of barbeques.... Hopefully. Summary: a classic tasty dip, dressing, mayo based sauce from Heinz |
