Seeing this look all fancy on the Supermarket shelf, I had to give this a go. Yes, it is more expensive than other versions of Mayo, but this sound much grander anyway.

There is a few in the Heinz Deli Mayo range, but this is the only 1 i've tried so far. I like Garlic and if I make Bolognaise I have to have Onion and Garlic in the Sauce, so it is because of the Garlic that I chose this one.

I think this normally retails for around £1.60 for a 500g jar, but this was on Rollback in Asda the other month for £1.20.

I like the look of the Jar this in in. It is sort of shaped like a Pasta Sauce Jar. It is kinda thick and a bit wide and not all that tall. It has a black screw top lid. The glass is see through and you can see the off white Mayo through the Jar. The label on the Jar is a wrap around plastic label and the writing is in bold black on the front. Not really any pretty pictures on this, just a Bulb of Garlic in a pink-y colour.

This is pretty thick, and a little dollop of this goes a long way. I sometimes spread Mayo onto bread instead of Butter or Marg just to give a Ham Sandwich a little twist. I also like to dip my Chips into Mayo, and this coats the Chips well enough too!

When you open the JAr you get the nice Creamy Eggy scent of the Mayo mixed with a heady Garlic-y smell. Upon eating this you can certainly taste the Garlic, but it isn't pongy, and you won't totally stink afterwards. It is more of a subtle taste, which is great due to the heavy taste of Mayo.

Don't have the jar to hand for the nutritional information, but the calories and fat content were much the same as other full fat Mayo.

I will buy this again as it was a little twist to a favourite at not much more money!
