... Salad Cream is very healthy and light and only contains around 7.2g of fat and lolw in calories and is fabulous for diet starters out there. I remember only ever having salad scream's in the glass bottle with the screw on lids, now you get quite fancy plastic bottle which are squirty - i much prefer these. You can grab a bottle of Heinz Extra Light Salad Cream in Tesco at 470g for around £2:13. I recommend this Salad Cream to everyone out there. Don't just stick to mayonnaise....more

Salad Cream, i remember this as a child and never really stopped using it. I always covered my cheese butties in Salad Cream. I think Salad Cream is the best dressing to have on your sandwiches, especially a salad. I discovered today whilst on a course, during my dinner i had a jacket potatoe with cheese and i added some Salad Cream and was pleasently surprised at how gorgeous it tasted. I normally just stickto sarnies. Salad Cream is very much like mayonnaise but not as gross. The consistency is the same but mayonnaise is much thicker. Salad Cream tastes much nicer, lighter i guess and tangy, whereas mayonnaise is filled with egg. I have recently ...  Read the complete review

I've always like salad cream but with the original i had to limited how much i could use - no longer!! I have salad cream on a lot of things, i use it as a salad dressing, on chips, on sandwiches, with fish fingers and even jacket potatoes. I even use it to make my homemade coleslaw to give it flavour. Not even the cheaper brands come close to Heniz as they are really vinegary and watery. This maybe low in fat and calories but still has a nice flavour and rich creamy consistenacy. I have bought few cheap brands as a way to try and save a little bit of money as i can use a bottle in a few weeks, especially in summer, but i can really ...  Read the complete review

I am a big fan of salad cream after re-discovering it in Tesco the other month. I always had it on salad as a kid but then slipped into the murky underworld of mayonnaise. However, I saw the light in Tesco when the gleaming salad cream bottles called to me from the shelf. It was like bumping into an old friend!!! And so wee went home together hand in hand! Salad cream is a little like mayonnaise. It is very similar in consistency but not as thick. It is much more tangy and less eggy. It does contain egg. It also contains mustard and vinegar. I can't taste the individual ingredients but they do combine to create a very tangy taste ...  Read the complete review

Filled a hole in my stomach Tastes of aniseed...I found the spice flavour unpleasant. Too much sauce and too thin.
