I don't eat that many Heinz products. Since they decided to get healthy the items they manufacture don't really taste as nice in my opinion and this one claims to be low fat. Anyhow, being stuck for something to have for our dinner I ventured up the road and bought a tin. As it was my brothers money I didn't have much choice in the matter as to what I was expected to buy. Although I did earn myself a belgian bun for my troubles so no complaints here. Ring pulls and me simply do not go together. In most cases I muck it up and have to resort to my trusty tin opener, however I actually managed it this time. It peeling away without the tiniest bit of ... Read the complete review

Ever since my workplace went modern and decided to let us have a new kitchen complete with a mictrowave my lunchtime meal has become very easy... take a tin of soup to work and warm it up in the microwave! I am not the worlds most organised person and struggled to make sandwiches but to grab a tin of soup out of the cupboard and then head off to work is well within my capabilities!! I have tried a variety of different soups; Shops own brands, Batchelors and Heinz. One of my faviourites has to be Heinz Minestrone soup and I find myself picking up a couple of tins a week. You can buy the tin for the price of 82p in tescos but I have found you can get it cheaper ... Read the complete review

Well have decided to go soup mad this afternoon! There are generally only three soups I tend to enjoy, so this will be my last soup review for a while. So don't worry, I won't drown in soup! Minestrone soup is nice as it has so much thrown in there, it's good that you get lots of variety. Again as with the other soups I have reviewed (chicken and tomato) this is quite a thick soup. There are loads of things thrown into the soup such as, noodles, tomato, carrot, onion, celery, swede, peas, beans, peppers, leeks, cabbage. Wow, I got most of them from the ingredients list, shows how much they do actually cram into each tin! As with other soups I ... Read the complete review

I'm a great lover of soups, especially in the winter, as they are warming, filling & usually fairly low in fat & calories. I usually make my own soups but it's a pretty time-consuming process so I sometimes resort to opening a can & usually opt for Heinz as, in my opinion, they know how to make good soups & I've never been disappointed. Their soups usually come in cans around 400g although they also sell condensed soups (also great for sauces by the way) which are in smaller tins. They retail at about 65-70p per can but it's worth looking out for offers in supermarkets if you are keen on soup as it can often work out ... Read the complete review

I have recently started to become a bit of a fan of soup, mainly because I am trying to lose a bit of weight and cut down on junk. Therefore for lunch today, I decided to raid the cupboards for a tin of soup I had never tried before. Minestrone soup is something I have never tried before, for some reason I was really against it as I thought it would not be very nice and I haven't really tried anything other than tomato soup in the past. This aside, I decided to try it anyway. Had a quick look at the ingredients on the side of the tin and decided I liked them all so why wouldn't I like it? The soup came in a 400g can, with the usual Heinz logo on ... Read the complete review
