I was really hungry, but I found that half the can with a couple of slices of wholemeal toast filled me up. I wasn't uncomfortably stuffed, and I'm sure lots of people could eat a whole big can on their own, but it makes a good light meal for two. I'm trying to buy a lot of organic food at the moment because I believe that food is by far one of the best areas of life to spend money! However, I was surprised to find that Heinz did an organic range of beans - and at 65p for a 415g tin from Sainsbury's, I thought they were very reasonable for a brand name. As it's getting cold and dark earlier these days, I wanted something warm and easy to prepare (since I've worked a full day, got home to put washing on and do a bit more work).
