I recently tried the Heinz Spread n Bake Sticky bbq flavour after a recommendation from a friend and was really impressed with it. For those of you that are not culinary experts like myself you end up with a really tasty meal with very little effort. It is available in four flavours which are Sticky BBQ, Moroccan, Tikka and Meditteranean Tomato and they come in a jar size of 315g. Used best on chicken breasts you place your chicken into an oven proof dish then spread over a couple of thick spoonfuls of sauce over each chicken breast. The jar suggests there is enough for six servings but i have got more like ten servings from a jar and thats without being sparse with it. Cook your chicken for around 25 minutes and you are left with a really tasty meal. The bbq flavour sauce is sweet and has a smoky taste to it, really nice! One serving of sauce contains 0.3g fat, 0.6g fibre, 0.5g protein and 20.8g carbohydrate and contains gluten, wheat, soya and mustard. Available for 99p a jar from most supermarkets this is definitely recommended. It boasts that its low in fat and contains no artifical colours, flavours or preservatives and is suitable for vegetarians. The jar does recommend that you use within 7 days of opening but as long as you have the jar lid fully closed it lasts much longer than that. Heinz are onto a real winner with this one.
