I do enjoy my puddings but quite often after cooking a dinner, it is nice to have a dessert that doesn't require much preparation. Packaging As I already mentioned, this product comes in a tin. On the front of the tin there is a rather appealing picture of the Sticky Toffee Pudding as well as all the usual information such as how to cook it. The tins are 300g in size. Cooking This product is cooked in the microwave. To cook, you need to take the cake out of the tin and put it into a microwavable bowl. Then you simply place it in the microwave for 2-4 minute (depending on the power of your microwave). It really is that ... Read the complete review

I bought this out of necessity when I was on a college trip in Jersey. Being hopelessly unskilled in everything culinary, I bought it thinking it would be a doddle to cook. It was, once two friends helped me interpret the instructions! I don't think the instructions aren't difficult to follow - I suppose for the complete beginner anything's difficult! What really confused me was the microvaving - I am not in possession of a microwave at home, so the instructions were completely alien to me. Of course, the pudding can be cooked in the oven, but there wasn't enough time. Upon opening the tin, the sweet smell of the ... Read the complete review

These puddings are lovely and very easy to cook, you can either cook them in a conventional oven or a microwave. The most difficult part i found was getting the pudding out of the tin. I removed the top of the tin with the tin opener and shook the tin to death, banged it and shook again but the pudding wouldnt budge so i resorted to taking the botton of the tin off with a tin opener aswell and pushed the pudding out. It smells very sweet and looks horrible when you first get it out of the tin, the toffee which sits on the top of the pudding looks like it is a jelly but once it has been heated up in the microwave it melts to a very lovely if somewhat ... When I was younger the thought of any sponge pudding didn't appeal to me and regularly refused to even taste any preferring to either go without or have something different. As time has gone on though my taste buds and preferences have changed and not so long ago we had one of these Heinz Sticky Toffee puddings for dessert and I absolutely loved it. We have a second tin in our cupboard at the moment and I could really eat it right at this minute but rather than spoil my diet I have decided to write a review about it instead thereby tormenting myself lol. Heinz must have had a rebrand since Dooyoos picture was added as my tin is completely different ... Read the complete review

Heinz Sticky Toffee Sponge Pudding Description: Puddings. 10.5 ounces. Sometimes, no matter how unhealthy it feels, you just need something sweet for dessert. The beauty of this product is that it will sit in your cupboard for absolutely ages because it is in a tin, and is ready in minutes. The tin itself has a golden sponge pattern printed all over it with the Heinz logo on the front. You can pick this pudding up from most supermarkets for around £1 per tin and there is also a chocolate version available. Unfortunately, it isn't a tin with a pull off lid so you will need a tin opener. All you need to do ... Read the complete review
