Heinz Weight Watchers Carrot & Lentil Soup Description: Manufacturer: Heinz / Type: Soup If you read my reviews, you will know that myself and Mr Siamese eat a lot of tinned soup. I prefer to make my own, but because we both work full time shifts, I often find that I just don't have the time. I like the convenience of tinned soup, it is easy to keep in a drawer or locker, heats up in the microwave in minutes and provides a hot and relatively healthy meal. This soup comes in a purple tin with the Heinz Weight Watchers logo on the front and a picture of the soup I paid £0.59 for a 295g tin, though it can often ... Read the complete review

I'm not mad keen on a lot of the Weight Watchers soups but I love this Carrot And Lentil one because it's so filling and yummy. It's bright orange and tastes exactly the same if you warm it up in a saucepan or nuke it for a couple of minutes. The soup is bright orange and looks like it's going to have a strong carrot flavour, you can see that there are loads of lentils in the soup and they look nice mixed in with the soup. It tastes proper warming and has got a rich vegetable flavour, it's weird because it doesn't actually taste of carrots but you can tell there are loads of them in it. I think the lentil flavour comes through in the soup more and ... Read the complete review

After trying a can of the clear chicken and noodle soup from Weight Watchers which I can only call a somewhat traumatic experience I decided that I would not try anything new for a while when using up my Weight Watchers stockpile of soups and went for one of my old faithful; Carrot and Lentil. I love carrot and lentil soup and when I have time I will always make a big homemade batch of soup up. But if the supplies of homemade have run dry I have to opt for shop bought. This is where I struggle as Weight Watchers seem to be one of the only brands that include a carrot and lentil variety in their range. ***Packaging*** The carrot and lentil soup ... I'm not on a diet however occasionally I do like to watch what I'm eating and when I'm going through this kind of phase I often turn to the weight watchers products. They do a huge variety of things including soups, meals, jams and spreads, drinks, cakes, sweets and snacks! Recently I've tried a range of their soups and one I am particularly fond of is the Lentil and Carrot soup. The weight watchers soups can be found in every single supermarket really however we buy them from Tesco as it is the store we shop at most. The soups can be found alongside all of the other soups from brands such as Baxtor's and the well known Heinz! They are usual on the middle ... Read the complete review

In this cold wintery weather, I often find I crave hot, comforting food . Now, most of the time I have time to cook something from scratch, but sometimes, I'm pushed for time and can't be bothered , so having a cupboard full of quick fixes and tins is handy. I always have soups . Ton's of them, and yesterday my hungry eyes saw this one Weight Watchers Carrot and Lentil Soup, purchased ages ago and looking lonely and forlorn in my cupboard . I could go into passionate description of the packaging, but really, its a tin, with a picture of soup, and a Weightwatchers logo . The tin is 295 grams, enough for a nice large bowl. The packaging tells you ... Read the complete review
