Advantages: healthy
Disadvantages: none really
My mum got a few of these weight watchers meals in over the summer. I was massively hungry and we had no food in. I was not massively enthusiastic about tucking into one of these, but, i must say, it was a pleasant surprise.
Intro
------
Weight watchers do a selection of their own branded produce which are designed, obviously, to try and attempt to help people to lose weight. They are generally low in calories and fat in order to achieve this.
This hotpot is no different.
Taste
------
I really enjoyed this meal. It has a very creamy, mushroomy sauce which really sets off the rest of the food nicely. It comes with chicken and an assortment of vegetables, as you would expect from a hotpot.
The one downside was that because the chicken has been microwaved it is slightly rubbery in texture, however, you get this from most microwaveable products so it did not really surprise me.
Price
------
The price of this product is farily reasonable. In my local costcutter they come in at about the £1.80 mark, which is pretty reasonable for a ready meal.
Ease of cooking
-------------------
As with most ready meals, it is very easy to cook. Simply take out of the box, pierce the film lid, microwave for 9 mins and hey presto! You have a lovely meal ready for you.
Nutritional info
------------------
Obviously this is the reason you buy the product, so its quite important.
