Weight Watchers Tuna in Tomato and Herb Dressing...........

After trying to loose a little bit of weight I thought I would try buying more low fat low calorie product in my weekly shop so there are not so many temptations in my cupboard when it comes to meal times.

I paid a little under £2 for four tins of the said tuna and tomato herb dressing which came in a cardboard package which held the four tins in nicely. The tins are small in size but each hold a nice enough amount of the tuna and tomato mix. The tin hold 80 grams and this is made up from 45% tuna and 23% tomato and a mix of other smaller amount of ingredients such as peppers, vinegar, salt and garlic.

The whole tin is only 1 weight watchers point if you are indeed following the weight watcher plan. If not the whole tin is only 80 calories and 2.6 grams of fat. I find it goes wonderfully over 3 rivita crackers and there is enough to have a nice thick amount on each.

The taste of this tuna and tomato mix is very nice with a very strong tomato flavour and only mild herb flavours coming through. There is plenty enough tuna for me though and it doesn't end up tasting too fishy like some types of this sort of product. The tuna is John West though so I suppose it is of fairly good standard.

The only thing I would say is that the tomato juice can some be slightly runny and I have found that this is a little difficult to get out from clothing. This however is not that bigger deal and apart from this small fact I can find nothing wrong with this product at all.

I would rate this product highly by giving a 5 star rating. The fish is tasty and so is the tomato dressing it comes in. The packaging is good and up to a high standard. The product is low in fat and low in calories and well worth the money that was paid for it. I would say this is a nice low calorie lunch time snack.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED if you are watching your figure or not

Summary: a nice lunch time snack

Sounds really nice, I love tuna and often by this tuna and pasta salad from tesco, but as its £1.89 and over 500 calories a go I dont have it more than a couple of times a month. Your option is cheaper and a lot less calories so will definately try it out. Thanks.
