As a self confessed ‘Americana’ addict I’m utterly ecstatic that Hershey’s Reese’s Cups have finally made it to the British Isles. I actually found my first packet of the product almost two years ago in a nearby local supermarket with the help of a good friend; however the store quickly sold out and they were never restocked. Thankfully, it seems that Reese’s Cups are finally under general distribution in the UK, having seen them once again at my local supermarket and various general stores around town. I have to start my review by stating that, traditionally, I’m not a great fan of peanut butter; I simply find it too strong a taste and too gooey for my ... Read the complete review

I've had these Hersheys peanut butter cups a few times in the past but it's always been after a few beers and I can never remember them exactly right. Today though I saw that Morrisons are selling the packs of 3 cups so brought some to try with a straight head so I could write a review about them! lol A peanut butter cup is quite a flat milk chocolate cup that comes in a little case like a fairy cake, the chocolate is filled with peanut butter. They're yummy BUT waaaaaaaay to sweet, there doesn't need to be 3 in a pack because by the time I'd eaten 1 1/2 of the cups I felt a bit sick and when I finished the third I was terrified I'd actually gone ... Reese's Cups are made by Hershey's candy in the USA. They are widely available in the UK, in supermarkets, general stores and service stations. In each packet you get 3 cups in paper, on a small cardboard tray, wrapped in a bright orange plastic wrapper. Hershey's candy is different to the chocolate in the UK, it is made from Vegetable Oil rather than animal fats. It does taste a little different but it is absolutely delicious. A lot of people say it isn't very nice flavoured and I guess it is down to individual taste, but on these cups its a perfect combination, if you did have normal galaxy or Cadbury milk chocolate they would become far too sickly. Each ... Read the complete review

I have loved hersheys reeses chocolate and peanut butter cups for a very long time, right back to when i could only buy them from woolworths! The bright unmistakable orange reese wrapping caught my attention on the shelf, and i have been hooked ever since. I am not the worlds biggest peanut butter fan as a general rule, however i simply adore these cups. The smooth creamy peanut filling is both sweet as well as having that peanut tang, which keeps me going back for more. The chocolate american style chocolate rather than the creamyness of galaxy or cadbury, however i think in this product it really works, i think that the chocolate we have here ... I was sceptical. The packaging is garish orange and the packet design looks cheap and nasty, and the product, when you pick it up from the shelf feels too lightweight to be a 'proper' chocolate bar. Furthermore the illustration of what's inside the gaudy wrapper (it shows a flat chocolate-covered cup-cake-like thing in a wee paper case) makes it look like something made by the infamous low-grade-snack specialist 'Tunnocks' company - purveyor of such abominabal British confections as the 'Tunnocks Tea Cake' and worse, the 'Tunnocks Chocolate Snowball' (eurrgh). Add to all that the fact that I'd heard that Hershey-brand chocolate, though it's a favourite in the USA, ... Read the complete review
