... morish. From the US Hershey family, Reeses have a very long history, and it was Asda that first stocked them in mass, and at prices of around 55p, barely higher than the US where they come from. Unheard of on imports usually. But as I say, you get 3 cups in a row, each one is a circle of peanut putter (not runny) and encased in chocolate and sitting in a paper circle. I like to break them up and add them to vanilla ice cream and chocolate drizzled sauce, perhaps sometimes with a cut up banana, but you can use your imag...more

As a self confessed ‘Americana’ addict I’m utterly ecstatic that Hershey’s Reese’s Cups have finally made it to the British Isles. I actually found my first packet of the product almost two years ago in a nearby local supermarket with the help of a good friend; however the store quickly sold out and they were never restocked. Thankfully, it seems that Reese’s Cups are finally under general distribution in the UK, having seen them once again at my local supermarket and various general stores around town. I have to start my review by stating that, traditionally, I’m not a great fan of peanut butter; I simply find it too strong a taste and too gooey for my ...  Read the complete review

I am a big lover of American foods, may have something to do with me living there for a while! I really am a fan of Hershey's Chocolates, and it is the Hershey company that make us the wonderful Reeses Peanut Butter Cups. Peanut Butter Cups are pretty much what they sound like. A thick cupcake shaped snack, with a creamy centre of peanut butter, coated in a thick, crunchy layer of Hershey's milk chocolate! Peanut Butter Cups are some what like Marmite, in the way that you either love them or you hate them. Personally I love them (but I hate Marmite!) and I just can not get enough of them. They come in a bright orange packet, which has the Hershey ...  Read the complete review

Hershey's Reese's Cups: Peanut butter cups (557 words)

Peanut Butter Cups are made by American chocolate manufacturer Hershey's, and are part of the Reese's range. You can get hold of these easily in the United States and I fell in love with the peanut butter & chocolate combo. You can import order these chocolate bars, or if you are lucky you may find that your local supermarket stocks them. I buy mine from Tesco's where they are available on the sweet counter near the checkouts (they're not located in the main aisle with other types of chocolate and confectionery). It costs 57p for a 51g pack. The mega bright orange packaging does stand out and make it noticeable, but I find it rather ugly. The Peanut Butter ...  Read the complete review

Hershey's Reese's Cups Description - sweets. I should probably start this review by explaining that over the festive season, I put on a few unwanted pounds and as a result, have spent the last few months eating healthily and exercising regularly to shed them and feel less sluggish. Unfortunately, this has meant that I have had to replace treats with more healthy options and also cut out snacking. Having said that, there are times when only a sweet treat will do and if you are lucky enough to have them available to you, these peanut butter cups are one of the nicest ways to treat yourself. A pack containing 3 peanut ...  Read the complete review

Hershey's Reese's Cups: A strange combination - but it works! (461 words)

When my granddaughter came to visit last week she handed me a flat chocolate disc which sat in it's own paper case. Even without seeing the garish orange wrapper it was plain that this was a Hershey's Reese's Peanut Butter Cup, not least because of the strong aroma of peanut butter escaping from beneath the chocolate. Hershey's is an American brand which has been launched here in the UK in recent years, we do not have the full range as yet but these Peanut Butter Cups are fairly widely available both in supermarkets and through online retailers. A Reese's Peanut Butter Cup will quite possibly be the most cloyingly sweet product you have ever eaten, ...  Read the complete review
