About Hobnobs

McVitie's biscuits have been enjoyed by generations for over 100 years. They initially started with Chocalote Digestives and then the HobNobs brand was launched in 1985 and a milk chocolate variant followed in 1987.

My opinion

Now I do enjoy a nice biscuit with my cup of tea in the evening. I know that is very British, but it is just a nice evening snack and definetely recommended.

Now Hobnobs are just lovely, they have a great taste, go well with Tea and are just simply a nice snack for an evening. I should state that I do not buy these quite as often as I would like, because I find it impossible just to eat one biscuit - rather I have to have 2 or 3. Therefore I just do not buy them as much as I would like.

My favourites are probably the Chocalate Hobnobs as these are just lovely. The mix of Chocolate and Hobnob is just lovely and I really recommend these above all else.

One possible drawback is that the Hobnob is by nature a biscuit that causes a lot of crumbs. These go all over the place and really can cause a mess - probably not the best if you are giving to a child and you do not want crumbs.

All in all I would say that this is a nice snack and worth having in the cupboard for when you are needing a snack.
