I like to bake everything from scratch so a potato bake would usually involve a basic roux sauce (butter, flour and milk), grated cheese, lots of fresh herbs from the garden and some par-boiled chucnky potato slices. Unfortunately the man in my life occassionally feeels the need to be helpful and on this occassion his help arrived inside a £1.69 jar of Homepride Garlic and Herb Potato Bake.
