... heart which is suggesting it is good for your heart. I serve mine with milk and like to leave them a while so they go a little soft because personally I don't like them crunchy. The main taste (in my opinion) is that you get more nut than honey and personally i would like to taste more of the honey. The texture is soft and a little chewy when the milk has soaked in which I liked. A 40 gram serving contains 151 Calories, 7 grams of sugar, 2.6g fat (0.9g saturates) and 0.0g salt. This is quite low for a breakfast cere...more

I ventured down to the kitchen cupboard this morning to find that my dad had invested in these: Honeynut Shredded Wheat. I decided to poor myself a bowl, fancying something healthy and filling for breakfast and I have to say that in general I don't agree with the largely positive reviews so far, I would say that they were average, if not slightly under average. Shredded Wheat is bite sized pieces of whole wheat, extremely healthy, it is marketed as a product which helps to reduce the risk of heart disease, although how exactly it does this I have not quite researched yet. It is whole grain goodness, and full of fibre, so on these merits, shredded wheat scores ...  Read the complete review

I love cereals and have recently again been trying various different ones. One of the cereals I've sampled is Nestle honey nut Shredded Wheat. They are made by Nestle which are a well known brand. Therefore they can be found in all supermarkets including Asda, Tesco and Sainsbury's. They can often be found in smaller shops too and little newsagents. Often they are served up at hotels and bed and breakfasts but I've only come across this once and they were in their own little box which came from a multi pack. They can be found in the cereal aisle alongside the other Nestle cereals. These particular ones were right next to the Bitesize Shredded ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Nuts About Honey & Nut Shredded Wheat (540 words)

Honey Nut Shredded Wheat....... For a while now I have been buying the Nestle Pick a Pack variety breakfast cereals. The main reason for this is because they cost around £1.20p and have eight boxes of 40 gram cereals in a multi-pack and six of the eight boxes have a 25 pence coupon inside the box. This means in theory you are getting back the money you paid for the cereals! Bargain. One of the cereals contained in the Pick a Pack collection is the Honey Nut Shredded Wheat and I would say these are probably my favourite of the lot. I hadn't tried them before buying this multi-pack because I was too worried about spending over £2 on a large ...  Read the complete review

I fancied something different for breakfast yesterday so after an early visit to Sainsbury's I ended up with Honey Nut Shredded Wheat, something I haven't tried before and was curious as to what they were going to be like as I enjoy both Crunchy Nut Cornflakes and plain Shredded Wheat. I ended up not having the Shredded Wheat for brekkie yesterday, but tucked into a bowl this morning and enjoyed them so much that I really cannot believe I've never tried them before and they're now one of my favourite cereals! They're small Shredded Wheats and there seemed to be a lot in the 500g box that I bought. As I was pouring them into a bowl I bit into one and was ...  Read the complete review
