ohhh i remember Hula Hoops from being a kid. I don't have a clue how long they have been around for but i have always loved them. I just had to remind myself how great they tasted last week and bought a couple of packs. My favourite have always been the Cheese and Onion ones. Each bag of Hula Hoops come in a 25g one. I also believe each bag contains around 129 calories, 0.5g of Fibre, 7.2g of fat and 0.8g of Protein. You can choose to buy the single packs which are around 37p, or a multi-pack of 7 which i believe is around £1.29.

HP Hula Hoops are very distinctive, they are basically a thick potato ring that are very, very crunchy. I choose to eat Cheese and Onion. The taste is actually quite nice and not too strong like other cheese crisps, they don't over power you. I used to play around with these crisps as a kid, i would put the ring on my index finger and pretend i was engaged.... oh childhood memories. I still play about with them and shove my tongue through the hole and keep it there untill they've melted into my mouth.

Over the years i have tried out all the flavours, some i liked more than others, each flavour has it's own unique taste. The flavours include - Barbecue Beef (which comes in a brown packet), Salt and Vinegar (which comes in a blue packet), and Ready Salted (which comes in a red packet). All the flavours taste exactly as they should do, the Original was never a favourite of mine, but then again they are not a favourite in general i find them too boring and salty. The Salt and Vinegar ones, like the Cheese and Onion, are not over-powering and have a nice taste and texure to them. Barbecue Beef are quite nice aswell, they have a slight tangy taste to them.

Overall, Hula Hoops are quite a filling crisp, not all crisps can fill you but these seem to do the job, although they become very moreish. They are very popular with Kids and Adults and can be used at any occassion, i think they go down really well at childrens parties. They may not be the healthiest crisps (as they are high in the old fat) but, when eaten in moderation they can be very enjoyable. There are a few flavours to choose from, but can i recommend you try the cheese and onion ? Go ahead and try out these Hula Hoops, you will not regret it.
