Advantages: Variety of flavours

Disadvantages: There are other snacks with better nutritional values!

I love Hula Hoops and have done since i was a child.

They are a well known British snack made by KP snacks who are also well known for other snacks they make too! Each flavour has it's own defining colour with hula hoops written in bold red across the front.

Red packets are ready salted, blue are salt and vinegar, brown are barbecue beef and cheese and onion are green. Most recently in some of their multipacks they also have chicken flavour which has orange packaging although i have not seen these sold on their own.

The salt and vinegar are my favourites as they are full of flavour but not too salty and have a real authentic potato taste to them.

A 25g bag costs about 40p and contains about 130 calories so compared with some bags of crisps this is quite low making them a good choice. They also contain no artificial flavours or colours which makes them suitable to children and the name appeals to children as hula hoop was and is a popular game for children to play.

You can buy them in bars and pubs, supermarkets and newsagents and most cornershops. I'm hoping that some day soon they will take a leaf out of everyone else's book and start doing 100g bags although i would probably munch my way through the whole lot!

Summary: Yummy flavours!
