Advantages: £1, great for emergency cooking

Disadvantages: Taste is worth 80p

Iceland is well known for its ready to make cheap meals. The Iceland Deep Pan Pepperoni Pizza is no exception. At just 1£ it is probably the cheapest pizza available in the market apart from the tesco/sainsbury value tomato and cheese. The pizza itself is smaller than it looks on the box and is roughly 9inches. From the minute you open the package you can clealy see that no matter what the label says be it pepperoni, ham or chicken the topping is mstly cheese and tomato with 6-7 pieces of your desired topping. Yet for £1 it is forgiving.

The deep pan however is possibly the least satisfying due to the fact of too much dough to topping ratio. With each bite you will feel like eating dry break with a about 15% cheese and tomato and you can possibly get a better taste from normal bread with ketchup and cheese. The pizza takes roughly 15-20mts to cook and is however good for thos lazy days where you cant be bothered to cook or on budget so take away, eat in or going out is not an option. I usually always have an iceland pizza in the freezer for emergencies however usually go for the £1.50 ones or £1 thin and crispy for better taste.

Summary: Cheap poor mans pizza

I've tried this. Good value. Think it was £1 for 2 small pizzas. Exact same one is £1.50 in Makro.
