On opening the box, the portions are a pleasant surprise. For once I have bought something that is actually a decent sized portion. Each fillet is covered in large breadcrumbs, and peppercorns can plainly be seen on the surface. The breadcrumbs are a light gold in colour. Last Thursday we had a quick tea. I?d been spring cleaning and just hadn?t spent any time in the kitchen. Whilst looking through the freezer, I came across a box of Iceland Lemon Pepper Chicken Breast Steaks. These cost £1.99 from Iceland, or at present they are doing an offer of two boxes for £3.00. At the offer price, this means each portion costs an amazing 37 ½ p. As with all Iceland?s brand named produce, these breast steaks contain no genetically modified ingredients, artificial flavourings or colours.
