Screwballs Ice Creams:
... worry about soggy cones or melting ice cream dripping down your hand because it s all kept within that handy plastic cone. A single screwball would usually set you back at least £1 from an ice cream man however most supermarkets have them, usually in boxes of 4 or 6, Iceland and Asda for example sell them for £1 a box, bargain! Iceland Mini Cream Cookies ... packets of the chocolaty cookies on almost every biscuit shelf in the supermarket! Though, I personally found the taste a little bland after a while, and wanted to sample some other flavours. Although America have various flavours of Oreos to offer, including Berry Crème and Double Stuf, these are not available for purchase anywhere near me, so I had to settle for the basic biscuit. Whilst at Iceland, something with an attractive £1 label pressed proudly onto the packaging caught my eye. It was a packet of biscuits, but they were no ordinary treats! Why the hell am I writing about hot and spicy Chicken nibbles, I hear you ask? “Angus, why are you writing about Hot and Spicy Chicken Nibbles?” See, told you I heard you ask! Well, they happen to be one of my favourite snacks. Not the crappy ones you can get from Iceland for 99p. You know the ones? When you go to a tacky party where the hosts try to impress you with a £10 buffet and lots of Chinese leaf lettuce spread over the high fat content sausage rolls. Iceland Southern Fried Wedges ... recently had Iceland wedges and found that different brands can vary in size and flavour, but Iceland for me are by far the best, most of these bags do state to cook them in the grill or oven, but for me thats too long winded ! I like to slap a pizza in the oven and then 3 minutes before its ready just drop the wedges into a deep fat frier at around 150 degrees, the result is perfect tasting wedges every time. hope this hint helps, happy eating....
