I first discovered these gorgeous gems, when a friend of mine who works in a health food store gave me a pack. I had never heard of the brand but it looked pretty edible when I opened them and boy oh boy were they good! About: Island Bakery is located on the Scottish Island of Mull and is strictly organic and concerned about the environment and sustainable agriculture (kudos to them!) One of my great passions is trying to buy products which are organic. If the company also originates from a place where it is harder to find employment, and to make a success of a business idea, due to transport costs and employment issues in rural isolated communities, then so much the better. It was with great delight that I recently discovered the tasty biscuits which are produced on The Isle of Mull, which is off the cost of Oban in Western Scotland. One of my favourite flavours of these is Lemon Melts which are one of the most delicious biscuits I have tasted in a long time.
