I was putting some cakes I had made into a biscuit tin to keep them moist and I realised that I was using a Jacobs family circle biscuit tin, well its not really a tin but a square rigid plastic container.
Any way this container is an attractive red square the lid has pictures of biscuits on it. They are arranged in a circle. The words family circle everyones favourite are printed around the picture. There is a small black background above the word family circle surrounding the word Jacobs in white.
The lid is of this biscuit tin is very well fitting. It is great for storing things in afterwards.
So are these biscuits my family favourites?

.
I believe Jacobs have made these biscuits for many years now as I have a memory of eating them for lots of years.

Danone a French company bought out Jacobs who make Family circle biscuits. These biscuits are in my opinion still a very English selection.

There are 1 k gram of biscuits in this tub, plenty for any family event. I think you can buy a smaller 500g container.

I bought a 1kgram tub for Christmas as I thought the selection would suit most of the family. If you were to buy this product today it would cost £3.49p that works out about 35 p per 100g.Which is a fair price for a mixed selection of biscuits.

I will try and remember what biscuits were inside this container.

First the chocolate biscuit a milk chocolate digestive, the chocolate quite a pleasant milk chocolate on a sweet digestive biscuit This biscuit not suitable for dunking Yes I have tried and melted chocolate and crumbling biscuit dipped in Tea is not that good,

A standard digestive biscuit is a basic digestive its ok for a quick dunking.

Chocolate bourbon a harder chocolate biscuit sandwiched with a cream filling, the harder biscuit, dunks ok but the cream softens too much

Chocolate chip biscuit, cant remember much about this one,

Then I think there is shortbread one with currants in it. Dunkability ok but the currants fall into your tea.

There is of course the standard shortbread biscuit shaped like a triangle with holes made by fork prongs pricked into it? I prefer a thicker finger of shortbread. This dunks ok if you are quick

Then there is the biscuit that is like a jammy dodger. Two circles of biscuit sandwiched together, one with a small circle cut out of it the red jam oozing out of the cut out circle. These are quite tasty I try to nibble around the jam circle popping that in my mouth last circle. I do not dunk these

There is the chocolate finger biscuit yeah that’s good to dip and suck the melting chocolate off.

I seem to have forgotten two styles of biscuit, as there are 10 varieties in this selection. Cant remember them.

This selection of biscuits is a good all round selection maybe not very special but good for a party as most people will like at least on if these biscuits. Thanks for reading, have fun dunking your biscuits. J
