Advantages: Great taste, Very healthy

Disadvantages: Dirty fingers

Im a big fan of almost all savoury snaks, and Twiglets are right at the top of the pile for me. A big factor for a lot of people here, is the whole Marmite 'love it or hate it' concept, as Marmite, and twiglets pretty much go hand in hand with each other.
I love Marmite, which is probaly a lot of the reason why I love Jacobs Twiglets. A slight downside to these is that they do make your fingers very dirty with the marmite coming off them!!

Jacobs Twiglets are 'Twig' shaped, hence the name, and are a whole wheat savoury 'marmite' flavour snack, produced in Leicestershire. They come in a foil lined black and blue coloured bag, and are available in 25gm, multipacks available from most supermarkets, at a price of approx £1:50 for 6 bags.
They are also available as 150gm bags, which are better value at around £1:20, but not very useful to use as part of a packed lunch.

I always have had the impression that eating a bag of twiglets is far more healthier than a bag of crisps, and so just before writing this review, I checked out the Nutrion Information, and it is as follows:

A 25gram bag contains:

96 Calories
3.2gms Protein
2.9gms fat
3.0gms Fibre

A comment on the bag also says that each bag contains 41% of the suggested daily amount of wholegrains.

Looking at the ingredients, I was quite surprised that they contained Celery, not something I would have thought twiglets were made out of!
There are No Artificial Colourings, or Flavourings either!

So in comparrison to an average bag of crisps, there are almost half as many calories in a bag of twiglets, about a third as much fat, and 2-3 times as much protein and Fibre!! Wow, Im amased at the difference, I'm glad I really enjoy these things!!

**In conclusion**

If you like Marmite, you will love twiglets, they are extremely tasty, and very very healthy compared to a bag of crisps.

Summary: Very healthy, tasty snack

I agree with Plushroom - the sticky Marmitey fingers afterwards are a plus point haha :)

Your fingers being covered in the coating afterwards isn't a disadvantage - maybe it's just me but I like getting to lick it off my fingers - it's extra marmiteyness.
