Yesterday I took my elder son to the Tesco which is about 10 minutes away from us. We found a new treat we haven't seen before so we took two Jammie Dodgers: one is the original and the other one is with custard. Well, both of them are fabulous. First impressions ----------------------- The Jam'n Custard Jammie Dodgers come in a yellow wrapper and the logo is surrounded by a huge red spot which looks as if it is the jam. There is a biscuit on is showing how the content looks like. When I opened the pack I found a white cardboard tray in it and there were 8 sandwiched biscuits in it. The round shortcut biscuits are put together with a ... Read the complete review

I absolutely love biscuits and particularly have a fondness for the original jammie Dodgers so when I saw this new flavour in my local Sainsbury's store on offer for 44p a pack opposed to the usual retail price of about 88p a packet I felt compelled to try them. They sounded nice eh...jam and custard! So I grabbed some and couldn't wait to try them with a cuppa that night! The Packaging: Yellow and red oblong and plastic and inside there is a white cardboard tray contains 8 biscuits. I am usually on to a winner when anything is on special offer and these 'Jam N Custard' Jammie Dodgers were no exception, lol! We got ours half price for 44p at Morrisons about a month ago now but I've only just got round to eating the packet over a few days... The biscuits are made by Burton's Foods in the UK and are described as 'Delicious stretchy jam & custard filling splodged at the heat of 2 yummy shortcake biscuits'. Jammie Dodgers have always been one of my favourite sweet snacks so I thought these would be lovely with the extra custard dimension to them... The packaging and the way the words are wrote you can tell ... Read the complete review

The original Jammie Dodgers were a firm favourite of mine quite a few years ago but must admit that I have purchased them again for years. At the moment Tesco are selling these special Burton's Jam 'n' Custard Jammie Dodgers for the bargain price of 41p and thought I would try them out. The packaging is the usual cellophane with a white cardboard tray that pulls out - this usually makes the outer packaging rip and the results are that the biscuits go stale very quickly unless kept in an airtight container. I was amazed that there are only 8 biscuits in a packet and would not class these are great value for money if I purchased them for ... Read the complete review
