Nothing beats eating a nice cold ice-lolly on a hot summers day, and in this country (England) the opportunity to do so comes around very rarely. For this reason, the decision of which ice lolly you choose must be right. You could go for the standard favourites or, as I often do, try a new type. I do not hesitate to do so as I am easily pleased when it comes to ice-lollies... That was until I tried these Jelly Babies Wobbly Lollies. My first problem was trying to get the thing out the plastic wrapping each individual lolly comes in. The plastic seems to stick to it and I nearly tore the lolly in half trying to get it open! Now, this is strange, the ... Read the complete review

I could never be described as the world's biggest fans of ice cream and frozen desserts, but the odd occasion does occur when after my evening meal I'm looking for something sweet to munch. I was in my local "Farmfoods" store recently, and whilst perusing the frozen desserts for an item to fit this description, I came across this box of "Bassetts' Jelly Baby Wobbly ice Lollies". I was instantly attracted to them for two reasons: 1. I love jelly babies 2. The low price - 50p for the box! My mind made up, I scooped the box from the freezer and felt rather chuffed at my little bargain. I mean, come on... 50p for a ... Read the complete review

While we were out for the day on Saturday I treated my granddaughters' to an ice cream, only to find after buying them that the two year old was in an awkward mood and didn't want one after all. Well, I certainly wasn't going to waste the Jelly Babies ice lolly I'd spent almost £1 on so decided to eat it myself. The first thing you'll notice with these lollies is how wobbly they are, I had the pink one and I must say it looks positively rude wobbling about on the stick like some kind of bizarre phallic symbol! Where on earth do they get their ideas from - and how did this one pass the test for it being suitable for children, I can imagine the sniggers in ... Read the complete review

I thought id take a walk up to my local Lidl today and see what bargains they had on offer, and after a good look round i spotted Bassetts Jelly Babies wobbly lollies for only 59pence for 8 full sized lollies. This seemed like a very reasonable price and this is what prompted me to pick them up as I am often on a limited budget but still want to enjoy some of the nicer things in life. The packaging is a bright yellow with cute little jelly babies on the front, the lollies them self are made from real fruit juice and natural colours and flavours. I could really tell that these contained real fruit juice as they just did not have that artificial taste that you ... Read the complete review

I fancied a nice fruity lolly as I was feeling thirsty and just love fruity ice lollies. I thought I'd try these as there was little choice in the shop and they said they were made with real fruit. These are actually very nice but they are not what you want if you want an ice lolly. They are 'woobly' according to the packet, like a jelly baby and they do actually have a very similar texture to jelly babies. They really are woobly and they are soft and chewy unlike a normal ice lolly. I think that kids would really enjoy these as they really do feel like you are eating an extra cold, slightly harder jelly baby. The fact that they wobble makes them ... Read the complete review
