Every year when our family go to the West Dean Chilli Fiesta (see earlier review) I always ensure I visit and buy my favourite fudge of all time. Fudge has always been a sweet treat for me after chocolate of course, but has always been in small cubes individually wrapped in plastic. Jim Garrahy's fudge is made in one long slab and cut into slices, about 1 inch thick. each slice is then sold by weight, or alternatively you can buy a selection of your choice for a set price, I always go for 3 slices for £10. When you think of fudge you usually think of vanillia flavoured solid cubes however this is where Jim Garrahy's fudge is totally different! The fudge is totally unique in that it is a hand made, soft and creamy texture. It totally melts in your mouth! To me its more a mixture of fudge and butter icing and totally delicious. This fudge is amazing, and like no over I have tasted. It is not the small hard little cubes of fudge you may have trued before, but a thick slice of gooey creamy fudge. You bite through the outer crust and the inside just melts in the mouth I've tried lots of flavours like Traditional Toffee, Vintage Vanilla, After Dinner Mint, and even Lemon meringue Pie. But my favourite is definitely Belgian Chocolate Fudge. It is a creamy fudge with swirls of white chocolate and dark chocolate running through it. Mmmmmm. You can but this fudge at their website, www.fudgekitchen.co.uk, and they've got some shops across the country in place like Canterbury, Edinburgh, Bath and ... Read the complete review
