John West Tuna Chunks in Sunflower Oil.
=================================

Packaging.
~~~~~~~~~
The Tuna tin is not that distinctive and comes in a green and yellow palm sized tin. It does not have the usual ring pull but instead needs the attention of a tin opener.
Which can leave a sharp edged rim but remember to always take it completely off, better for any wild life that may try to stick its nose in the tin somewhere down the line.
I have pretty much always found that not spilling a little oil, especially when removing the lid, is impossible. Leaving the tin a little slippy and drippy.
However it is a fully recyclable tin which is always a bonus.
Smell and taste
~~~~~~~~~~~
My wife loves tuna but me; well it's the smell that puts me off. A bit like sweaty socks. The tuna itself I would class as an ok fish but I rate it fairly low on my top ten of choice fish to choose from. Not too salty which is good and comes in good sized chunks.

Cost
~~~~
You can pick up a tin for under a £ or you can get a three or four pack and save a few pennies.
Cooking
~~~~~~
Well to be honest what can't you put tuna into?
On hot toast for a snack, mixed into a salad, a tuna pasta is actually a favourite meal, On a sandwich with some salad, mix with pepper and pop some in a pita for something a bit more filling,

Opinions
~~~~~~~
A healthy option, but not for the tuna itself obviously, and packed with omega 3. Will leave an after taste and if eaten mid day may repeat on you. Can be used in a multitude of ways and as an added bonus my dogs love it mixed in with their biscuits.
Worth having a couple of tins in your cupboard but there are tastier tinned fish out there.
