... However i do think that this cereal is quite highly priced for a standard cereal, priced at £2.74 at my local Tescos shop. I have recently realised that you can but exactly the same cearal, but as a tescos own brand for just 99p, a huge saving compared to the highly priced Jordans cereal. I havent yet noticed a difference in quality from the Tescos own brand cereal compared to the Jordans cereal, apart from the fact that there is a bit less fruit in the tescos version, however i am still satisfied with the food....more

Premium Review Jordans Country Crisp Real Raspberries: Jordans Clusters - a Raspberry Surprise (599 words)

Jordans Country Crisp Raspberry cereal is one of their range of oat and barley cluster cereals. The others in the range include with Strawberries, Four Nut Crunch (my favourite), with Honey Clusters and with Flame Raisins. All the Jordans range are recognisable with their distinctive Jordans logo on the front. The Country Crisp range all come packaged in a similar box, coloured differently and with wholesome pictures of the appropriate contents, in this case, raspberries. Their boxes are manufactured from at least 80% recycled board with the remaining 20% from sustainable forests. Hence the entire box is recyclable. Tastewise, these are ...  Read the complete review

I'm not a great fan of cereals but when I saw this one on the shelf I just had to have it. Raspberries are my favourite fruit and as this cereal contains real freeze dried raspberries it was bound to be delicious. This cereal contains a mix of oats and barley mixed into delicious clusters with dessicated coconut, hazelnuts and sugar. Despite the inclusion of the sugar thee small clusters dont taste too sweet, the have a delicious light crunchy taste. The inclusion of real freeze dried raspberries is what really makes this cereal special. When you first pour a bowl you can see the whole perfectly preserved raspberries. When you add milk the ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Jordans Country Crisp Real Raspberries: Jordan's Wonder Cereal (282 words)

Jordan's make great breakfast cereals. A few years ago my family would buy the chocolate version and it was sublime. Unfortunately they discontinued it, with a trip to France being the only way to get hold of some! Just recently they have decided to reintroduce it - thank god!! So what is this country crisp all about? Well, if you haven't tried it already, it is a crunchy, crispy bowl full of wholegrain oats and barley. They bake them into big clusters that break apart in the mouth. Surrounding this is plenty of pieces of freeze dried raspberry. Freeze-drying is a great way of storing fruit while retaining the bulk of the vitamins and minerals. The raspberry ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Crunchy nut clusters have nothing on these boys! (365 words)

I am a recent convert to breakfast cereals, usually enjoying a couple of yoghurts before work instead for the last twelve months or so. But recently my generic supermarket had these on offer- £2.23 each or 2 for £3!!- so decided to give these a whirl for a change as I had enjoyed their Frusili and breakfast bars in the past. The cereal comes in different flavours that include Raspberries, Strawberries and Chunky Crunchy Nut. The nutty one is really good eating and is packed with large chunky pieces of nuts the like of which is quite unusual in other cereals that I have experienced over the years (the pieces tend to be quite small in other cereals) but this raspberry ...  Read the complete review

I am writing this review because i love this morning cereal. I have been buying it regularly for a few years now and have never been disappointed with the quality of this cereal. It comes in a lot of different flavours including strawberry and chocolate. My personal favourite is strawberry because i think that the cruchiness of the cereal compliments the soft strawberry pieces perfectly. However i do think that this cereal is quite highly priced for a standard cereal, priced at £2.74 at my local Tescos shop.
