Im a firm believer in breakfast being the most important meal of the day and like to vary what I have on a morning. Sometimes I like toast, other mornings I have cornflakes or muesli, and when im feeling particularly healthy I always reach for Bran Flakes made by Kelloggs. My box is slighly different to the one in the picture DooYoo has, Contained in a mid-blue coloured box it is simply illustrated with a large "tick" on the front with a bowl of flakes depticted in the bottom right corner. You are informed that the contents are "high in fibre" and contains "wholegrain" GDA information is listed at the top of the box ... Read the complete review

I always eat breakfast and I am a great believer that breakfast is the most important meal of the day and is essential for kick starting your metabolism. I like many different cereals and I do often eat cereal at lunch time and supper time. For breakfast though I try to eat a cereal that is healthy and doesn't need to have sugar on to make it taste nice. I am terrible at putting sugar on cereal and it kind of defeats the point of it being healthy. On a morning I will either eat Weetabix or Branflakes, and while I often get bored or fed up of eating Weetabix Branflakes are a cereal I absolutely love. My husband and children say they taste like cardboard but ... Read the complete review

Bran Flakes is one of my favourite cereals and healthy too which is great. Bran Flakes is produced by Kellogg's, the American Multinational producer of breakfast foods, etc. The company itself was founded in 1906 by William Keith Kellogg. Their philosophy, "improved diet leads to improved health", is definitely what I am looking at when it comes to healthy eating. Currently there is a picture of Chris Hoy, the British Triple Gold Medalist at the Beijing 2008 Olympics on the front of the box. As he is an athlete this gives you a great example of how Bran Flakes is a healthy cereal and can be used by too athletes too. He writes on the back, "Believe me, any ... Read the complete review

Kellogg's Bran Flakes...... Having started my new healthier eating and higher exercise regime I started looking for a breakfast that was going to give me a good enough boost so that I could take part in early morning exercise but something that was not full of a lot of calories or fat. I had never tried Bran Flakes before but looking at the nutritional values that they contain, they seem to be the best breakfast cereal around. Not only offering low calories and fat but also good for iron and to keep you regular! The Kellogg's Bran Flakes compared to stores own brand seem to be again better by far. I compared Tesco's Health Choice ... Read the complete review

As most of you know, I'm dieting at the moment and the most awkward meal of the day for me is breakfast. I have to eat something in the morning in order to take my first round of tablets, but often feel sick first thing thanks to the final lot of tablets which I would have taken the night before! What to do? I decided to try Kellogg's Bran Flakes as I remember my daughter eating them while pregnant, they helped her morning sickness because of the blandness of flavour so I wondered if they could help me to eat breakfast and thereby aid my weight loss attempts. They are similar to cornflakes only in that the flakes are roughly the same size and ... Read the complete review
