Advantages: Good Quality, Competitive Price

Disadvantages: They're Bran Flakes

A 750g box of Kellogg's Bran Flakes will set you back £2.19 in Sainsburys which I think is very reasonable for a large box of breakfast cereal. The advantages of choosing this cereal above others is that it's packed full of bran which can help those suffering from a bit of a stuffed gut (if you get my drift). I think this particularly appeals to older generations who have certain bowel problems for that reason.

This is high in fibre and low in fat and sugars so it's a good healthy way to start the day. The taste isn't very appealing to me I have to admit as I find it a little bit bland sometimes. I much prefer the taste of cornflakes or porridge oats to anything bran. But as far as bran cereals go, this certainly has a good clean taste and is made from high quality ingredients.

If like me you want to attempt to be healthy but with a bit more flavour then try adding some banana slices or a handful of raisins. It makes it even healthier and tastes a lot more flavoursome then too.

Summary: Not for Daves Really.
