A 750g box of Kellogg's Corn Flakes will set you back £2.19 per box in Sainsburys which I think is a relatively competitive price given that this is a superior brand of breakfast cereal. Better yet is when you can get this on special offer as this keeps for ages as long as you leave the packaging sealed so you can stock up and keep it in the cupboard when special offers do come up.


What makes this such a great breakfast cereal is the lovely clean taste it has. Unlike with some cheaper versions, you don't find any "bad flakes" in this or have to put up with dodgy broken bits. The flakes that make it into the boxes are good quality. Although cornflakes are quite a simple cereal, there's a distinctively different taste between Kellogg's Corn Flakes and cheaper versions. It's very hard to describe but the best way for me to do so is to say they're clean, wholesome and very, very crisp.


This is quite a healthy breakfast cereal as it's relatively low in sugar and fat even with the milk on it. It's packed full of vitamins and minerals to give you a boost to start the day with too. Next to porridge this is my favourite healthy way to start the day and it's popular with all the family too. Who says being healthy has to taste bland?
