If your in a bit of a rush and struggle to get some cereal or even toast then you wont go far wrong with Kellogg's nutrigrain bars. As a sort or replacement breakfast these bars supposedly give you what you need first thing in the morning! Is that true? So nutrigrain bar can be purchased as individual packets or in multi packs which contain 8 bars, which are boxed. The single packets are mainly white with the image of an apple running along the bottom of the packet. A green line separates the image and colour, which has the flavour written in white and "soft bake bar" on the left also in white. Above this you have the word nutrigrain, but ... I got a bit of a bargain in Tesco the other day with these. I don't think they're that expensive at full price, with the newly sized boxes of 12 retailing at £3.19. That means they retail in multipacks for 27p each, a big saving on the individual prices in the shops. You can pay anywhere between 45p and 80p for one of these in a petrol station. What I love about these is that they're that little bit more healthy than chocolate bars and other junk food snacks, and they actually fill me up and satisfy my hunger at the same time. I was at college when these appeared in the shops. Every lunch time me and my friend would pop down to the little college shop and spend a fortune on loads of sweets (no wonder I was so chunky!) and these bars quickly became a part of that everyday ritual. When I left college I also left these nutri-grain bars behind and they were soon forgotton along with a tonne of the information I learnt through my course. My husband and I were in the local Spar the other day and they were on the till reduced down as they were about to go out of date.
