I am someone who tries to eat a healthy balanced diet but sometimes I really don't have time for breakfast, even though it is meant to be the most important meal of the day. If I have a long day ahead of me though, the first thing I will do is try to have cereal as I do enjoy it if I find one I like. My only bad point is that I have a craving for cereal and then I get bored after a few bowls and want to change my cereal. I had Sugar Puffs, but then I got sick of them so I looked on the shelf and noticed a childhood favourite of mine which is now not as expensive as it used to be so I decided to buy it. I'm so sure back a few years ago these used to be called Raisin ... Read the complete review

Over the years I have tried quite a lot of cereals. Usually I will stick to Kellogg's, as I know to expect great things from them. And Raisin Wheats are just one of the options that do not disappoint! When you first tear open the plastic packaging, you'll notice how much the cereal smells of wheat! Ironic? Well it's such a powerful smell, I could not believe it! You cannot detect raisin at all! When you pour the cereal into a bowl, you'll see they look like little brown parcels made of wool or rope. So, having got the day off work, I've taken it upon myself to come up with a couple of new reviews to keep the 'fans' happy! First off...breakfast time. Now, I'm hardly a connoisseur when it comes to breakfast cereal, and it was heartbreaking to find out that it appears DooYoo doesn't have a review page for Kellogg's Ricicles?! This is a travesty, and had there of been one, you lucky people would be learning about something that is simply frosted Rice Krispies right now. Thankfully however, one of the few other cereals I'm not sick off after years of eating that is on DooYoo is the much forgotten Raisin Wheat. Made by Kellogg's, (who else?!) ... Kellogs Raisin Wheats are like bite size shredded wheat with a raisin puree inside. They are very tasty and satisfy a sweet tooth while still feeling quite healthy. They come in an attractive purple 500g box which is quite small, and the cereal is also quite heavy so a box only lasts 2 adults and a baby for a few days. The box costs nearly £3 so this is not a cheap option, although some supermarkets do their own brand and I can't really tell the difference. I have always liked this cereal but was drawn to it again recently as I have a 1 year old baby and this cereal is quite natural with no added salt or sugar and it is fortified with vitamins and minerals ...
