Advantages: Tastes good, quite healthy
Disadvantages: none that I know of
I buy these quite regularly from Tesco at around £1.55 for a pack of four. I have always liked these from when they first came out and now I let my girls have these as a treat. They taste nice and sweet with a lovely chewy texture and it isn't too sticky or messy to eat. It's made mainly from toasted rice, syrup and marshmallows.
The four Squares come in a shiny blue foily packet. Then they are individually wrapped in the same blue wrapper which keeps the bar nice and fresh.
The best before dates usually have about a year after you've bought them. They are to be stored in a cool dry place. There is 118 calories per bar, which isn't too bad as a treat.
You can have these as a snack or a treat, but I personally wouldn't have these as a breakfast bar as they are a bit too sweet for the morning!
Even if you don't like marshmallows, don't let that put you off as you can't taste it. My partner doesn't like marshmallows but he loves Squares!
On the pack it says - Light, crispy grains of toasted rice cereal covered in a chewy melted marshmallow. There is also a Kelloggs careline - uk - 0800 626066, R.O.I - 1800 626066. There is a lot of nutritional information on the packets as well as the ingredients.

- 03/11/08 You can't really tell there is marshmallow in it! There's certainly no lumps of it....just melted to make it all stick together :0) |
