Variety packs are wonderful things; so much choice and selection! Normally, I try to stay clear of sugary cereals, as they can make me feel quite sick, especially in the morning. Although, the other day, I browsed the top of the cupboard to seek out my cereal, and got the strangest urge for a sweet breakfast. Fortunately, there were a few sugary options, and found myself reaching for the little box of Kellogg's Frosties! The little cardboard box looks pretty identical to the larger box of Frosties; a deep blue shade with a picture of the iconic Tony the Tiger positioned on the front, just underneath the frosty white lettering which spells out 'Frosties'. ... Kellogg's Variety Packs contain eight small boxes of Kellogg's cereals, held together in a cellophane wrapper. Although the contents of variety packs tend to change over time as new cereals are introduced by Kellogg's, the current variety packs on offer in supermarkets appear to contain Rice Krispies, Ricicles, Coco Pops, Coco Pops Munchers, Frosties, Cornflakes. Other cereals that I have previously seen featured in these packs include Rice Krispies Multigrain, Honey Loops and various others. Because the pack includes lots of different cereals, they are often taken on holidays where a group or family all like different ones but do not have the space to take ... Read the complete review

Kellogg's variety packs always remind me of a Bed and Breakfast that we once stayed the night in, we had to take our pick from the mini cereal boxes which were delicately laid out in a wicker basket lined with a gingham cloth. Last week I was in Morrison's with one of the grandchildren in tow and he spotted the miniature boxes of cereal took an instant liking to them and wondered why I wasn't prepared to pay the asking price of 37p for a single box ! Now do not get me wrong, the small boxes of Kellogg's cereal do have appeal but that appeal comes at a premium. Six small boxes of cereal costs £1.88 and if I am honest the contents of each box is only ... Read the complete review

These are on offer in Tesco's at the moment and for some bizarre reason I felt led to pick up a pack. I think it was because my mum always used to say 'No' when I asked for them every Thursday when we went shopping. Each week I'd ask, each week she'd say 'No' and each week I'd moan or cry! It was always the same but now I realise that she was right in not putting a box in the trolley because I found that they look much more appealing than they actually are. What are they? The Kelloggs variety pack is a selection of different cereals wrapped up in see through plastic. There are eight boxes and at the moment the selection is as follows: 2x Frosties ... Whenever I go shopping, my children always pester me to buy a Kellogg's Variety Pack and normally I refuse on the grounds that a) the pack is too expensive, b) the cereal volume to cost ratio is uneconomical and c) nobody will eat the Cornflakes. However, whilst shopping in Asda last week, my eagle-eyed children spotted the pack on offer at £1 instead of the normal price of £1.89, which blew two of my arguments out of the water straight away - needless to say I ended up buying one. Everyone is familiar with Kellogg's Variety Packs as they have been around for years and despite the fact you don't actually get a lot of cereal for your money, they still remain ...
