Advantages: Tasty, low fat , Lots of goodness in them!! (yum)
Disadvantages: traces of peanut , no, more
Introduction Personally I don?t enjoy Frosties as much as the rest of my family, but I suppose they aren?t that bad. Although I did have some Frosties this morning, when I was with two of my best mates. She had some of those small cereal boxes and I wasn?t hungry so I had Frosties because it had a smaller amount than the other seven boxes. And I suppose they are better than cornflakes because cornflakes don?t have sugar put on them ready to be eaten (which I suppose is O.K if you don?t like sugar) but Frosties do have sugar on them. Oh, and there is a tiger on the packet ? ?Tony the tiger?. To be honest with you I think he is really rather cute!! --------------------------------------------- What it is For those of you who do not know what Kellogg?s Frosties are, well it is a breakfast cereal. Each ?frostie? is a sugar frosted flake of corn. On the packet they claim Frosties are healthy and nutritious and all this while being tasty!! ---------------------------------------------- Taste Right, well as I have already said I do not enjoy them as much as my family, but I suppose they are alright. There is nothing really wrong with them; it is just that I find them quite plain. But on the packet it claims the cereal may contain traces of peanut, so if you are allergic to nuts, I am sorry but these are maybe not for you. ---------------------------------------------- Packet On the front of the front of the packet I am looking at right now, there is a big picture of ?Tony the tiger? and the words Kellogg?s FROSTIES on a dark blue background. On the back of this specific packet there is a puzzle to do with the ITV show ? Creature Comforts, it is a maze taking up all of the space, oh and there is a small explanation of what creature comforts is. On both of the sides of the packet there is a load of nutritional information, which I will explain later.
And t here is an advertisement of the new cereal bar by Kellogg?s (but let?s not get into that too much)!! -------------------------------------------- Nutrition Per 100g Energy: 1566 Kj, 369 Kcal Protein: 4.5g Carbohydrates: 87g Of which sugars: 38g Starch: 49g Fat: 0.5g Of which saturates: 0.1g Fibre: 2g Sodium: 0.6g There are also a load of vitamins, like vitamin B12 and vitamin B6 and there are two minerals: Calcium and Iron. I would say that is quite good, bit of everything really!! ------------------------------------------- Health Many of the nutrients above help your body in different ways, like calcium for healthy bones and vitamin B and iron can help you concentrate and it is low in saturated fat so it reduces blood cholesterol. It is also low in fat so you can keep a healthy weight. -------------------------------------------- Contacts If you wish to write to Kellogg?s then this the address if you are in the U.K Kellogg's consumer services dept. P.O. Box 356 Warrington WA4 6XY (ROI) Kellogg's consumer services dept. P.O. Box 1156 Crumlin Dublin 12 If you write with a complaint then you can send the packet and its content to the above addresses. If you want to contact them on the internet then you can go to this website address: WWW.kelloggsconsumercare.co.uk Or telephone at: (U.K) 0800 626066 or (ROI) 1800 626066 The Kellogg's care line is open 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday. -------------------------------------------- Conclusion Well the taste is alright and on the packet you can do a puzzle on the back. And I presume the consumer care is good, but I wouldn?t know I haven?t had to contact them!! ?touch wood?!! Oh and 1
last thing , try to store the packet in a cool dry place.
