Even though I have been really good and having my breakfast (see my cereal reviews!) I have found myself in the past couple of weeks feeling really hungry around mid-morning. I did not want to get into the habit of dipping into the Office biscuit tin, I only do that on really bad days (!) but after snacking on the Cadbury's brunch bars I was beginning to get a little fed up of the same old taste, that is when my work colleague suggested that I tried the Kellogg's Nutrigrain bars. I have seen these bars on the Supermarket shelves plenty of times but have never really felt the need to buy them that is up until now so whilst doing my weekly shop in my ... Kellogs have been making cereals for over 100 years. Their phrase is now know as "If it doesn't say Kellogg's on the box, then it isn't Kellogg's in the box!" They not only make cereals but now cereal bars a sure sign that people want to be able to eat on the go. Its breakfast made convenient. The Nutrigrain bars can be brought as a single bar but they also do the boxes which contain 8 bars (37 grams per bar) inside. The basic info on the nutrition side of it is:- Calories ... Read the complete review

Kellogg's Nutri-grain Strawberry Cereal Bars.... I have been struggling over the past few months to try and find something that Jack will eat for breakfast. It seems at nearly 2 ½ he has gotten into the bad habit of not eating what I prepare for him. He will often ask for some jam on toast and I will dutifully make it for him and then he will just point blankly refuse to eat it and then moan an hour or so later that he is hungry. I thought about these bars as they are promoted as being fairly good and I was sure I had seen adverts where they say about eating them for breakfast. To start with I bought a single bar which cost around ... Read the complete review

I have a habit of sometimes turning off my alarm clock and as I have been blessed with two good sleepers in my kids, We sometimes get up late for school. I am a big believer that breatfast is the most important meal of the day so, days when this happens we have to have something quick and easy and can usually eat on the go. Kelloggs Nutri-grain bars feature a big part in those type of mornings, along with a yogurt(a couple of frubes) and a piece of fruit, They form a fairly decent breakfast. The bars have a golden crust made from wheat and wholegrain oats and a nice layer of sweet fruit filling which is quite jam like in the ... Read the complete review

With such a range of dizzyingly sweet and filling chocolate bars available at even the smallest of shop, the option of a lightweight, fruity snack has always held limited appeal. Considering the usually prohibative price, I never imagined eating a Nutri-grain bar in my lifetime, and the thought didn't cause me undue worry. Recently my partner has been relentlessly trying to persuade me that she has a special "dietary requirement" to have something sweet to finish off her lunch, and so at my last weekly shop I threw caution to the wind and shelled out £2.50 for a box of twelve strawberry Nutri-grain bars, out of no appreciation or affiliation except ...
