The bars are made up of rice puffs which have been pushed into a soft and chewy bar shape, which has a milky layer on the bottom. The bars are quite small, only about 3 inches long , and about an inch thick. I was not very impressed with the taste of these bars as they don't have much flavour at all. The milk...more

Premium Review Kelloggs Rice Krispie Cereal & Milk Bars: Not big enough to fill my tummy! (422 words)

I often find that I get hungry whilst on the move, and so I do my best to keep a constant supply of things to eat in my handbag. My requirements for these things are that they are portable, not messy, not too perishable, not too high in calories, and tasty. Rice Krispies Cereal and Milk Bars fulfil most of these, except for the last one! These bars come in a cardboard box which holds 6 of the 20 gram bars. The box is a vivid blue colour just like the Rice Krispies cereal box, and features the cartoony characters of Snap, Crackle and Pop, carrying a large cereal bar. Inside the box each bar is individually wrapped which makes them very portable, and they are ...  Read the complete review

Kelloggs Rice Krispie Cereal & Milk Bars are a great idea for giving kids when you're in a hurry. They're not an ideal breakfast by any means, but they're not too unhealthy as a quick snack. Plus they fill kids up and taste great which makes them an ideal choice! They cost £1.68 for a box of 6 in Tesco, which works out at 28p per bar. They're on offer for a bit less at the minute too, you can get two boxes for £3 making them 25p each which is a small saving for you. Each bar is individually wrapped, so you can just grab one on the go or stick one in your glovebox for emergencies. I tend to keep things in mine for when I've got the grandson, as you ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Kelloggs Rice Krispie Cereal & Milk Bars: Kelloggs Rice Krispie Cereal Bars (You'll love them as much ... (702 words)

I wouldn't normally have ventured near this type of cereal bar. Just the sight of those Snap, Crackle and Pop kids characters on the front of the box is enough to scare me away. Although they project a 'fun' image, it doesn't somehow conjure up a healthy image at the same time. Anyway, I was having coffee with my sister who only ever gives her children the healthiest of healthy food, when I spotted her opening one of these cereal bars for her 3 year old. She noticed my surprise and said they weren't too bad in the health stakes. So I had a quick scan through the packaging (once said child had finished, of course) and saw that they weren't actually ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Yummy Breakfast Bar (151 words)

These are so yummy and a great snack for when your in a rush in the morning. Knowing your child is still getting breakfast just in a handy rush out the door kind of way. Unfortunately my daughter loves them that much she eats them all in like a day. I end up with nothing left for the next days breakfast. There just like Rice Krispies but in a solid bar form with a layer of solidified milk at the bottom very tasty and not as much mess as a 3 year old with a uniform on. And admittedly not a good idea for a naughty mummy with a hungry tummy. Never had a problem always tasty and a great little snack even at lunch time on the go. Not ideal admittedly but in this day how many ...  Read the complete review
