I am trying to eat a healthier diet at the minute and if there's one thing I'm fussy about, it is finding the right breakfast cereal. I go through different moods where I like chocolate ones then I want something a bit more filling and so I really scanned the aisles to see what there was, as usually price affects my choice. I noticed the Special K were on offer so decided to see what flavours there were as usually I avoid these as they are very pricey. I purchased the Peach and Apricot one which was ok previously but at £2.82 a time it seems a bit much. I just want a cereal that will keep me full for longer as now I'm back to early morning lectures I want a cereal with ... Read the complete review

Acting like a complete sucker to advertising - and despite the fact that I don't often eat breakfast - I trooped off to the supermarket and returned armed with several Special K's, fully convinced in the belief that I too, could drop a jean size/look slimmer for summer/wear a red dress.... Sadly I cannot yet confirm that... However Special K Creamy Berry Crunch is well worth writing about!!! This is one of the varieties derived from the original Special K which is per Kelloggs 'crunchy multi-grain flakes made with rice and wheat'. The healthy aspect of these cereals seem to come from the fact that in the flake concoction there is '3 % ... Read the complete review

Ok I admit I've been seduced by the recent TV adverts claiming you can lose a dress size in two weeks on the Special K diet, sad I know! I'm struggling to lose the excess pounds still from Xmas so anything is worth a try. I picked up a box of the Special K Bliss Creamy Berry Crunch variety this morning not expecting to enjoy it much but I'm pleasantly surprised, a bowlful kept me going almost until lunch and I havent had the usual hunger pangs I get if I just have toast in the mornings. The cereal flakes are light and crispy and mixed in with freeze dried pieces of berries and yoghurty bits. The combination of sweet soft yoghurt and crispy cereal ... Read the complete review

I tried the Strawberry and chocolate variety. Priced at £2.86p in Asda for a 375g box, this is not the cheapest of cereals, though I enjoy it. I noticed the yogurty variety is a little dearer. Generally, I like the taste of Special K. Its nice and crisp, and I don't feel its too sweet.. The sliced pieces of freeze dried strawberry give breakfast an extra zing, the chocolate coated flakes are, well, delicious, but there aren't many of them. Try to avoid the temptation of picking them out , otherwise you'll be left with a dish of boring Special K on its own. A banner on the front of the box proclaims that its only 3% fat. If you've been watching tv ... Read the complete review

Special k bliss I do like special K cereals and have eaten several of the newer special K varieties on I bought from Tesos recently was Special K Bliss This comes in 2 varieties strawberry and chocolate and one with raspberries and cranberries . 375g box cost 2.68p in this box it suggests you get 12 servings each 30 g. Just out of curiosity I poured my bowl of cereal and weighed it I had helped myself to just over 30 g, so this 30g is a fairly good amount for a serving. This means my breakfast cost 22p a day. There are 379kcal per 100g so that’s about 114 per serving. There is 2.5g of fat per 100g. There are milk products in this dry cereal ... Read the complete review
