For years now I have steered clear of these because whilst on a girly holiday these were literally all we ate. We would snack on them without milk and by the end of the holiday we were absolutely sick of them. It's only recently that I've seen them on offer and thought I'd give them another try since I am quite partial to a healthy ... Read the complete review

I watched a bit of that programme last week on how much sugar is in cereal, and even though it wasn't a completely rounded viewpoint, I was honestly surprised at how much sugar and salt are in things we assume are healthy, like All-Bran and of course Special K. Of course, they didn't take into account the milk/protein joined by vereal ... Read the complete review

Hubby came home a few weeks ago with a large container of Kellogg's mixed cereal boxes so, although a huge cereal-lover, I'm working my way through those left by my daughters. Each box is larger than the ones you see in the Variety Packs - 30g - so I've found you get a good-sized portion. I noticed last week that they were selling pic-n-mix at ... Read the complete review

Just fancied trying this for a change. Best thing I've ever done!! Found it to be extremely tasty and could easily eat this every day or do the cereal diet on it, definitely needs no sugar, was surprised how good this actually was, I believe there are other varieties which would be well worth trying as the basic one is so ... At the moment, i am eating Kellogg's Special K cereal, made with maize, rice and wheat flakes, for lunch. Normally i wouldn't do so, but i have recently developed a secret addiction for them. Its so hard not to- the golden, light flakes of cereal are so crunchy and scrummy, yet less than !% fat- which is good, because i'm certainly ... Read the complete review

==Background:== We are always told these days breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so lately I had been making a conscious effort to start my day well. I think, as we all get older we become a bit more aware of our own mortality and start to think more healthily. So with that in mind I have started purchasing Special K, as I ... Today i have started my long overdue diet & healthy eating plan. I want to lose exactly five stone & i know this will probably take me a while to achieve but i am determined. I saw the television adverts for Special Ks Slimmer for Summer Challenge a lot. As summer is nearly over, i just decided to introduce Special K into my morning ... Read the complete review

Unless you've been living under a huge rock, you've no doubt seen the Special K adverts on TV, which heavily promote the health benefits of the cereal. Whilst they aren't exactly the cheapest of cereals (a 500g box costs over £2 most of the time, and I've sometimes seen it even close to £3!), they are very healthy and very good if you're on a diet ... When I saw Kellogg's Special K on offer for £2.00 in my local Tesco store I picked up a 500g box and eagerly took it home to finally try this healthier cereal. The Special K comes provided in a cardboard box adorned with the Kellogg's Logo, a picture of a bowl of cereal, health tips, nutritional information & ingredients and inside ... I have always been a fan of Kellogg's Special K so I thought it was about time I wrote a review on it. 9 out of 10 times I will buy it as part of my fortnightly shopping trip. Me and my daughter both enjoy this cereal. *****APPEARANCE***** I usually have a large 500g packet, the average size and also a good family size/ lasts ... Read the complete review

Special K is advertised as the low fat cereal, you may well have seen it when they offer the 2 week swimsuit challenge. Aswell as the original version, they now offer a variety of flavours such as Oats and Honey, Red Berries and Chocolate Chip. A 500g box of the original Special K retails for around £2.89, but is currently on offer in Tescos for ... Read the complete review

So, cereal is never going to be the most interesting thing in the world to review, but please bear with me, I'm going to do my best! I really struggle to eat breakfast, and I always have done. Eating before 11 o'clock is an issue for me and just doesn't seem natural. I know that the situation is the same for many others, whether it ... Read the complete review

I really like the taste of Special K and the fact that they do SO many flavours (Oats and Honey, Red Berry, Berry Bliss, Peach and Apricot, Strawberry and Chocolate etc) is great. I like the fact that it stays crispy and crunchy, and doesnt seem to go soggy very quickly as some cereals do. The packaging of the product is ... Read the complete review

The fact that Kellogg's push the weight-loss benefits of Special K, as well as employing a series of waiflike models like whom all women should apparently strive to be, suggests to me that even they see this as a woman's cereal. What a load of codswallop. This is a delicious cereal, although the admittedly light nature of it means that if, like ... Read the complete review

Blah, blah, blah. Eat healthy. Five a day. Fibre is good for you. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. We've all heard it, time and time again, like a broken record. Personally, I'm fed up listening to it. So hear's the deal. You're hungry when you get up, you want to eat something, you don't want to spend ages making it ... Read the complete review

Looking for an alternative to the usual cornflakes i have re-fallen in love with special K. What is it? Its a multi grain cereal that's made with rice and wheat. Its low in fat and has vitamins B,C,D and iron. What does it taste like? The testure is much crunchier and substantial than cornflakes. The special k flakes are ... Read the complete review

Today the advertising watchdog "Which" announced that starting the day with a recommended serving of Special K would be "almost the sugar equivalent" to waking up to a serving of Tesco Dark Chocolate Fudge Cake Premium Ice Cream! As someone who was always made to have breakfast when I lived at home, a tasty cereal is a must (although I am partial to fish fingers and grilled tomatoes as well).
