Breakfast times are very hectic for me in my household. Making everyone's breakfast, lunches, taking hubby to work, straightening my SON'S hair, trying to get my daughter out of bed AND getting myself ready before the school run and then off to work. Nevertheless I always make time for my breakfast, I just couldn't leave the house without having something substantial to eat. I usually opt to have cereal and go through phases of having a different favourite every few weeks. At the moment my favourite is Kelloggs Special K Bliss Berry Crunch. I love this one. ===A BIT ABOUT KELLOGGS=== In 1876, almost by accident, William Keith Kellogg discovered ... Read the complete review

I've never really been a natural fan of breakfast cereals, I'm much more of a marmite and toast deep down. Recently though after the birth of my second baby the scales were not showing what I would like them to do and I decided that urgent action was required. I'd lost weight in the past by cutting bread out of my diet but to do this I needed to find a breakfast cereal that I would really enjoy and wouldn't leave me tempted by the toaster. My mum had always been a big fan of Special K and while I thought it was ok, it wouldn't have been something I would have really eaten out of choice. Anyway my mum suggested I give the Special K Bliss Berry Crunch a try ... Read the complete review

However I usually put my ce4real in a container and mix it with a cheaper packet bran flakes . The box contains 375g of Special K Bliss Berry Crunch Price at Tesco today is £2.88. From the Better For You Cereals shelf - see whole shelf I find this works well keeping the special k fruit and clusters in my bowl full and the crunchy flakes and a few of the ... I buy Kellogg's Special K in all its varieties every week. Both my daughter and I enjoy these light, crispy flakes, with or without the red berries or whatever the additional ingredient might be. We both watch our weight and this is a great way to do it. Having less than 2% fat, ll2 calories, 7g sugars, o.3g salt per 30g portion, they are, for me, an essential component of a good diet. As our daily recommended amounts are:- 2000 calories, 90g sugars, 70g fat (of which 20g is saturated) and 6g salt - a bowl of Kelloggs Special K, or Special K Bliss is a small part of our daily intake of these. In general, I do really love Kellogs cereals but I am sorry to say that I am not particularly keen on this cereal. The flakes are quite nice and are just like those in the original special K. The fruit in the cereal however I feel slightly dirupts its flavour. The fruit is rather sharp and tangy which for me is a little too much. However if you have sour tast buds then this is probably for you. When the cereal is eaten dry, it is not too much of a problem but when added to milk you can really taste the flavour of the cranberries which some may find appealing. The other thing is this cereal is for those who want to loose wait generally ... Read the complete review
