Kettle Chips recent upsurge in visibility on our supermarket shelves and in our high street shops has been in no small part down to the company and their attitude towards their product with the emphasis on quality ingredients being prepared lovingly and allowing them to have a noticeable difference between "normal" crisps. The Kettle Chips website is lets you know how proud the company are of what they produce with the potatoes hand cooked in small batches and no nasties added into the flavours which allows for a product that offers all the good flavours and tastes but with less of the negatives on the health. I don't have a sweet tooth, but I do have a savoury one, and I love trying out all kinds of savoury snacks, so I was quite excited when I first saw this new flavour of Kettle Chips. If you've never tried Kettle Crisps before, they are thicker, darker, harder and more brittle than standard crisps, and leave a slight oiliness in your mouth once you've eaten some. Some people don't like this, but I love it - they are much more "solid" compared to normal crisps. Kettle Chips are probably one of the makes of crisp I buy most regularly but usually I stick to my favourite Sea Salt and Balsamic Vinegar. However as they had a special offer in Tesco where they were only costing £1 per bag I thought now was the time to be a bit more adventurous so bought several different flavours as well as my tried and trusted salt and vinegar! Kettle Chips are hand cooked potato chips which are made using the best potatoes that Kettle Foods can find and are then cooked in small batches and finally seasoned.
