Advantages: Good value , creamy , chocolate
Disadvantages: Not my sort of chocolate
In my bargain hunt at the supermarket , looking again for treats , I came across a special on Kinder Bueno snack biscuits . I will never loose any weight at this rate . Still in the name of research I shall consume one now :)

I bought a multi-pack of 5 twin bars for 89p . Good value then . The outer packet is bright red and white . Tear it open and there is a layer of cardboard at the bottom . The twin bars have the same packaging as the multi-pack . Tear one open and inside there are the two bars each individually wrapped in cellophane . Don't they want me to eat them ?
The cellophane has a pull round tag which opens easily .
Smell ? None really . Each single bar / finger has four bits which you can snap off if so desired . The covering is milk chocolate with a slight drizzle of plain chocolate .
The chocolate has that continental chocolate taste , if you know what I mean . Looking at the wrapper it is imported by Ferrero so that explains the chocolate taste .
Bite into a bar and you get a creamy and crispy taste . The crispiness is from the wafer inside . The creaminess is a nutty flavoured , slightly runny , cream filling.

Personally I find I am not very keen on these . I like a good chocolate such as Cadburys or Lindt . I am not a lover of Ferrero Roche so that may be why I am not keen on these . If you like the taste of Ferrero Roche and praline choccies you will probably like these .
Although they are not very big , having just finished one finger , I feel I have had enough . If any thing they are a bit sickly . So they may help the diet after all , as I shan't be eating any more :)
Kinder make a range of chocolate products . The only other thing I have tried is the Kinder Surprise eggs . At the moment , with Easter in mind , a box of six eggs is reatiling at £1.99 . At 33p an egg you don't get a lot .
The eggs are made in the same Kinder chocolate but a thin white chocolate inside covered with a thin milk chocolate outer layer . They are roughly the size of a chicken's egg .
Each one is individually wrapped and has the trademark toy inside . The toy is held in a yellow holder . Pull this apart and there is a tiny toy which needs putting together . There are instructions . At one time these were very popular and people collected them . I don't know if that's still true , but they aren't up to much now .
The egg chocolate is okay but there is not much of it . I would only recommend these as a novelty treat for someone . Children should enjoy but obviously there are age limits with some toys having small parts .
I do wonder I children might enjoy Kinder Bueno with the benefits of the vitamins . However I feel the praline taste is usually more popular with adults .
So its a 2 / 5 for me for the Kinder chocolate I've experienced up to now
Thanks for reading
