Advantages: Tasty chocolate with delicious nuttiness

Disadvantages: Very moreish

Whenever anyone mentions Kinder to me, I always think back to my childhood, when I used to go down to the shop and buy a Kinder Surprise egg. Whenever I think back these days of why I bought it, I tend to believe that it was because of the toys that came free inside it.

However, recently, I have had some Kinder chocolate and it turns out it might not just have been the toys for buying it. I was recently given some Kinder Schoko-Bons as a little gift, which re-united me with Kinder for the first time in over 10 years.

The first thing I noticed about Kinder is the taste of the chocolate, which different from the more popular chocolates in the UK, such as Cadbury's and Nestle. It is more richer than UK chocolate. When having the normal Kinder eggs, there was a inner lining of white chocolate inside but otherwise hollow, while with the Schoko-Bons, which look like mini version of Kinder eggs, there was while chocolate and hazelnut inside, which fills the inside of the egg.

The taste of the chocolate and hazelnut, which is crushed into little pieces is delicious with a very pleasant smell coming out of the packaging, although each egg is individually wrapped, you still get the smells.

The only problem is that you will find yourself saying 'just one more', as you may find it hard to stop eating them once you have started. Having looked around for prices in shops, it would seem that they cost around £1.20-ish, which would put it in a similar price range to Cadbury's Mini Eggs, which are harder than the Kinder.

Summary: Bring back your childhood memories
