===KINDER HAPPY HIPPO=== I love all things Kinder! From the famous Kinder egg with their dinky toys inside, right through to the delicious little milk and hazelnut Kinder Happy Hippo; He's just so cute. I should think that kids really love this little animal chocolate. It made me smile, so much so that I found it hard to actually eat him. Kinder do an impressive range of delicious small chocolate items that are highly satisfying in flavour. The Kinder range is manufactured by the Ferrero group who are an Italian Company and apart from the Kinder range; they produce amongst other things, Nutella, Mon Cheri, Tic-Tacs, and the ever popular Ferrero ... I've had these little hippo shaped biscuits sat in my cupboard for a few weeks now and never got round to opening the pack, they have sat waiting patiently to be eaten and now that I've finally had one I thought id share the experience here. Coming in a box of 5 these are individually wrapped biscuit made by Kinder, the variety I have is the Milk and Hazelnut and from memory I think they also came in another flavour but can't remember what that was. They're not the biggest biscuit in the world I must admit, probably aimed at kiddies really, but still look pleasant enough. Taking off the plastic wrapper you see the little hippo looking up at you, ... Read the complete review

Everytime I visit the supermarket, I'm always on the look out for a snack that can add variety to my son's lunchbox. Something that he would enjoy while having his packed lunch in school. I found this kinder happy hippo in a colourful cardboard pack described as " Now Crispier Than Ever" and you can see the 5 individually wrap shaped like hippo. They are very appealing especially with the children. At first I'm quite hesitant because it appears to be one of those unhealthy sweet snacks, so i read the pack and found out that it has no artificial colours, no preservatives and no hydrogenated fats. I pursuaded myself to get one and I thought that it would be a ... Read the complete review

Recently these Kinder Happy Hippos were on offer when I went shopping with my mum so I made her get some for me! At buy one get one free they were 87p for ten - bargain! I have always loved these cute snacks as I love wafer type titbits to eat when I am relaxing at night although I find it very hard to eat less than three in one sitting as they are just so moreish and tasty (: Shaped like little light hippos and coated in meringue bits around the lower half of their rotund little bodies you can see how that can appeal especially to kids - even big ones like me, lol! Kinder say these are 'Now crispier than ever' on the front ... Read the complete review

Kinder, a product of the Italian manufacturer Ferrero, have produced a range of unique chocolate treats, primarily aimed at younger consumers. Kinder was established in 1956, and is probably best known for its overpriced Surprise egg, and more recently Kinder Bueno bars (which I've previously reviewed). You'd expect good quality products from Ferrero and, consequently, Kinder, and Happy Hippo is a novelty quality product in their confectionary line. These are described as 'crispy wafer biscuits with a milky hazelnut filling'. As the name of the product would suggest, the wafer is shaped like a hippo, except it's about 1/millionth of the size of a hippo. They ... Read the complete review
