From the famous Kinder egg with their dinky toys inside, right through to the delicious little milk and hazelnut Kinder Happy Hippo; He's just so cute. I should think that kids really love this little animal chocolate. It made me smile, so much so that I found it hard to actually eat him. Everyone loves sweets and biscuits and I'm as much a fan as most people. I probably eat more than I should but they are just so good! Kinder Happy Hippo are a really great snack for when you're in the mood for something sweet and creamy. They are made by Kinder who used to make little eggs with toys inside, they were a lot of fun and really popular with kids, these are just as good. They may not contain a toy but they are in the shape of a hippo and are therefore really popular, plus I knew they would be good quality because they were a Kinder product. Hippopotami are, by definition,' large, mud wallowing, herbivorous mammals' ...so when my son announced he wanted Happy Hippos in his lunch box, it merely confirmed what I had suspected ever since his birth....that he was totally barking ! However, having decided that his mother was, indeed, completely ignorant, my son proceeded to explain that they were actually very tasty biscuits ...Of course they were, how could I possibly be so stupid...I mean..It's perfectly natural and fitting to make biscuits in the shape of Hippos...Duh ! So, ever the loving Mum, off I popped to my local Sainsbury's to hunt down the Hippos ! I found a small innocuous looking orange ...
