... in the supermarket. The outside is lovely and floury but the inside is so soft that it's nearly like eating a cake than a toasted muffin! I always toast mine under the grill and butter it, the butter melts through these proper nice and makes them taste so delish and buttery. I only lightly toast these because I think the flavour is a lot nicer like that and if you toast them too much the toasted flavour takes over some of the muffin taste. They are lovely and soft and have got a delish doughy taste that is a lot...more

Getting sick of toast or cereal for breakfast? Then try Kingsmill Love to Toast muffins as a delicious alternative. They normally retail at about 80p per pack of 4, which is only 20p per muffin. Currently and until 31/12/2010 they are on offer in Asda supermarkets - 2 packs of 4 for £1, which works out at just 12.5p per muffin. Each muffin is a good inch or more thick; they have a nice floury outer texture, and when cut in half, you will see the lovely doughy aerated centre. You can either grill them, or if you have a wide toaster (specifically for muffins, bagels, etc) then you can pop them in the toaster. For convenience, you can squash them to fit them in ...  Read the complete review

Not too long ago, I fell in love with toaster muffins. I first tried the tesco brand and adored them. Since then I have gone on to trying several brands, one of which being the Kingsmill muffins. I must say, I was just as delighted with these as I was with the others! Brand: Kingsmill Packaging: Plastic case Appearance: brown, rounded Taste: bland Texture: soft, crunchy Price: 90p - £1 Availability: Most good supermarkets I wasn't too sure whether to expect anything spectacular from these, or whether they'd be the same as the rest. Kingsmill are a well known brand and I tried had many delightful products of theirs, so I ...  Read the complete review

Some of you may have read my latest review on the 'love to toast' crumpets by Kingmill, in which i pointed out that i had come across them in my local supermarket on offer, any two packs for £1.00, so i decided to get a pack of crumpets and also a pack of muffins to try as i always go for supermarket branded bread products. Well this morning i decided to sample my purchase, and i was very happy with the results, I had a muffin with a poached egg on top and it was lovely. ~The Muffin~ Comes in very bright yellow packaging, which is plastic, some of it is clear so you can see what you are buying, on the front is the 'Kingsmill' logo, and ...  Read the complete review
