Kit Kat 2 Finger Dark ... launched in the 1930s alongside the 4 Finger variant, and has remained the best-selling biscuit brand ever since. In the beginning, the 2 Finger KitKat was only produced as a milk variant, but is now available in Milk, Mint, Orange and since 2004, premium variants of Dark and White chocolate.

... a healthy bar - who are they trying to kid? The taste test.... Open the foil..... snap the bar in half.... inhale the chocolaty aroma.....and bite..... Mmmm! The smooth, dark chocolate is intense but goes perfectly with the sweet, crunchy wafer biscuit. Pure heaven. I like this because it's not too sweet. It satisfies my chocolate cravings without making me want more (well most of the time!) Dark chocolate is also better for you as it contains iron and less sugar. Nestle seem to be brining out all sorts of varie...more

After recently sampling the Kit Kat Cappuccino, I have become somewhat addicted to the delicious biscuit range. I was delighted when my Dad came back from the local shop with a packet of Kit Kats; again a flavour I had not tried before. When I opened up the packet, I put one straight into the fridge, as before. I was really in the mood to try one there and then, but would have to wait for it to turn cold, I've never been a fan of warm Kit Kat biscuits! After a long wait, I was able to sample the Kit Kat, so I sat myself down with a cup of tea; my usual beverage to accompany my biscuit! The Kit Kat was wrapped up with the traditional foil and paper, ...  Read the complete review

It's often nice to have something a bit sweet in the cupboard in order to have with a cup of coffee and also to offer to friends, which is why, last time I was in Tesco, I was drawn to a pack of ten Kit-Kat dark biscuits and found myself putting them in my trolley! There were two things that attracted me to them - firstly they are made with dark chocolate, which I love, and secondly, they have a big sign on the front of the packet stating that each biscuit only contains 106 calories which I did not think was at all bad. Actually, there was one more reason - my two daughters are not very keen on dark chocolate so I knew there would be more for me! Kit-Kat Dark ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Kit Kat 2 Finger Dark: Have a break. Have a bitter KitKat (786 words)

Chocolate for me is not just something sweet; I believe it is one of the basic food groups and it is always on top of my list when I go shopping. I still remember how I used to enjoy KitKat when I was really young, but truly couldn’t believe that this miraculous thing has been there since 1930’s. However, I have to admit that I have never been one of those who fell in the trap of dark chocolate; it might be healthy but it’s not as good as milk chocolate. When they make it with sweet fruity filling it becomes fine, but still not very satisfactory. Nestle launched the dark edition of KitKat in the UK in September 2006, and I wish they didn’t. In fact, I’m ...  Read the complete review

Kit-Kats are a real favourite in this house, particularly the chunky variety, which I think are stunning. My wife is constantly on a fitness and weight-loss binge, and so these ended up in the house. The Kit Kat 2 Finger Dark combines the traditional chocolate coated wafer that is the Kit Kat, but replaces the milk chocolate with dark. Dark chocolate contains 50% less sugar than milk chocolate, and is considerably more healthy that milk chocolate. So how does it taste? The wafer is normal - nice and crunchy, and fairly plain tasting with just a little sweetness. It makes a satisfactory crunching noise as you eat it, which is always nice to ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Kit Kat 2 Finger Dark: For all you dark chocolate lovers out there! (442 words)

I am a huge fan of dark chocolate especially which is why I picked up a packet of these when they were on offer in Sainsbury's a few weeks a go. What are they? Kit Kats are basically thin, rectangular sticks of chocolate with layers of wafer through the middle. You can get them in sticks of two and four. The smell When you opened the foil that the Kit Kat is wrapped in, you get this almighty whiff of that sweet chocolate which makes me want to shove the whole thing in my mouth there and then. The texture. I love snapping off a stick and hearing that lovely sound and I especially love it when they have been in the ...  Read the complete review
