Advantages: Something new

Disadvantages: A poor mix of flavours

I tried one of these for the first time today, having been a fan of the Kit Kat brand for many years I was left rather surprisingly dissapointed.

I bought it for around 30p from a local shop, which sounds like a lot and I suspect this was due to the fact it was a local newsagents likely splitting multipacks. Don't expect to pay this much normally.

For some reason the combination just doesn't work. The combination of wafer with milk chocolate in the 'normal' Kit Kat is brilliant and has just the right level of sweetness to taste nice and relaxing, but for some reason the bitterness of the dark chocolate overpowers the wafer leaving a sour taste in your mouth, which coming from someone who prefers dark chocolate to milk is surprising.

It could be that if this was done in a Kit Kat chunky format that it would be preferable as they tend to have more wafer to chocolate than the smaller counterparts.

Summary: Not one to try again
