Advantages: It's big

Disadvantages: It's too Sweet

Imagine a normal size Kit Kat............nice crunchy wafer, sandwiched with delicious cream then smothered in lovely chocolate. Nestled delicately between your fingers, whilst you lift your coffee cup to wash down the previous bite.

Mmmmmmm

Now multiply this by 4 and add a luscious amount of Seville Orange flavoured runny jelly.

Mouth watering yet?

Well so was mine until I actually tasted it. It's not a bad taste just a teensie weensie bit too strong for my liking. Obviously the Kit Kat bit is a scrumptious as normal but the Orangy filling I found quite sickly. So much so in fact that I failed to eat the whole biscuit.

Now is that a sin or what?

I don't have a problem with companies like Nestle (who produce Kit Kat) offering us nice little Special editions like this, in fact I welcome it. A change is as good as a rest after all. I am rather partial to a chocy biscuit with my coffee. I have done a sort of mini survey and I have only found one person who actually likes this edition, that's out of perhaps 40 odd people, so I think a little homework by Nestle was maybe required.

This chunky biscuit about 4 -5 inches long, just over an inch high and about the same in width. So as you can see it's a really good size and a 40 -45p depending where you go it's a decent price too. I have only seen them on offer individually and not in multi - packs as many other Kit Kat versions are.

I'm not going to go into the calories or fat content because.....well it's a bloody chocolate biscuit so its full of both.

It's not a bad biscuit far from it, and when washed down with coffee the Orange flavour doesn't last quite as long, but the fact remains that it is very sweet and very orangy.

I have no doubt that there are many people out there who would enjoy this with their cuppa. So if you like your filling sweet this is definitely the biccy for you, otherwise it might be wiser to stick with a good old Digestive or a nice Rich Tea

Summary: Big but far too sweet

Nestlé are the UK's least ethical company, you know. They're baby-killers.
